Why am I not receiving notifications from BestInterest?
If you’re not receiving notifications from the BestInterest app, there are a few steps you can take to troubleshoot the issue:
Check Notification Settings in the App:
Open the BestInterest app and go to Settings.
Make sure notifications are turned on and that you’ve set the preferred frequency for receiving them (daily, weekly, etc.).
Confirm that notifications for important messages, like custody updates or emergencies, are enabled.
Check Device Notification Settings:
Ensure that notifications for BestInterest are allowed on your phone.
iPhone (iOS):
Go to Settings > Notifications > BestInterest.
Toggle Allow Notifications on and ensure that the alert styles (banners, sounds, etc.) are set to your preference.
Android:
Go to Settings > Apps & Notifications > BestInterest > Notifications.
Make sure notifications are turned on, and adjust any sound or visual alert preferences.
Check Do Not Disturb Mode: Ensure that Do Not Disturb mode isn’t turned on, which could silence your notifications. On both iOS and Android, Do Not Disturb can be toggled in your Settings.
