After the report is generated, you’ll receive a PDF file that can be downloaded, printed, or even shared with a 3rd party.
Will the report show timestamps and message details?
Yes, the Verified Message Report includes:
Sender and recipient details
Exact timestamps of messages sent
Original message content (as sent)
A verification code that confirms the report’s authenticity and confirms that the message has not been altered
A verification code from the SMS provider, if applicable
The report does not include:
Any AI-filtered messages or commentary
Any flags interpreting the message as concerning, etc
Can I use this report as legal evidence in court?
Yes, the Verified Message Report is designed as legal documentation. It includes a digital verification code, ensuring that the messages have not been altered. If needed, attorneys or the court can verify its authenticity.
Is my report confidential and secure?
Yes. Your message reports are encrypted and only accessible to you. We do not store or share exported reports, ensuring your privacy and data security. Please be mindful about who you share your report with, and do not post your report in a public place.
What if I need a notarized version of the report?
While BestInterest does not provide notarization, you can take the printed report to a notary public to verify its authenticity before submitting it to the court. Generally, this is not a requirement of the court.
Will the court accept a digital copy, or do I need to print it?
This depends on the court’s requirements. Some courts accept digital submissions, while others require a printed and certified copy. We recommend checking with your attorney or the court clerk.
